Love is Love

Katrina and Latoya tied the knot on April 4th of 2016, the wedding and reception was held in their backyard. Wedding planner Delhman Drayton of Outstanding Occasions by Dell created a southern intimate rustic scene.

Sweetgrass stem roses greeted the guest and the smell of freshly cut flowers filled the air as the aurora of love transcend those entering the yard.

I asked Katrina and Latoya how did they come about choosing the colors for their wedding? "We believe in treating one another like royalty, so we chose cobalt blue, and Katrina's favorite color is coral, so we decided to accent our core colors with gold."

How did you two meet?

Unexpectedly on July 22, 2011 we met at a drag show. The night started out with small conversation and concluded with an exchanged of numbers. A friendship grew and eventually we made it official and started dating on April 4, 2012.

What is the best advice you both have received about marriage?

Remember the reason we fell in love with one another and keep that at the forefront of our marriage. Always put your spouse first, second to God and keep the communication lines open at all times and learn each other's love language. Don't forget to keep it fun and continue dating!

What was your favorite part about planning your wedding day? Firstly, taking the stress out of trying to plan a ceremony alone and hiring the planner and coordinator. We kept the ceremony size to 40 guests so that we would not fall into the realm of an impersonal wedding experience so we created a day that would be solely and uniquely catered to US and the love we share together.
